Piura, Vraem, Cusco: three terroirs of Peruvian cocoa
From the heart of the Amazon to the Peruvian Andes and the sunny regions of northern Peru, we work with cocoas from three great terroirs. Each has its own identity, climate and history.

Where great cocoas come from
On the edges of the Peruvian Amazon and the Andes survive some of the oldest and rarest cocoa varieties in the world. These lands of exceptional biodiversity hold a unique cocoa heritage, shaped by centuries of relationship between people and nature.
Each origin is chosen for its integrity, its genetic richness and its aromatic potential.
Piura, a luminous rarity
In northern Peru, the Piura region is the cradle of one of the most singular native cocoa varieties in the world: Cacao Blanco. It stands out for the pale colour of its beans, the sign of a distinctive genetic heritage.
Grown in a sunny environment, in agroforestry systems rich in biodiversity and surrounded by fruit trees, this cocoa develops notes of ripe fruit, caramel and mild spices, with a particularly silky texture. Our Cacao Blanco chocolate gives a delicate, balanced version of it, floral, with notes of dried fruit and caramel.
Vraem, biodiversity and heritage
East of the Andes, Vraem is among the terroirs richest in biodiversity. Chuncho cocoa has been grown there for centuries by communities who preserved it for its finesse and complexity, in agroforestry systems woven into the forest. It gives our Amazonas, mild and very fruity.
Cusco, between history and altitude
In the Urubamba valley, the Sacred Valley of the Incas, Chuncho benefits from rare natural conditions that combine altitude, climate and fertile soils. There it reveals great finesse and a delicate acidity. It is the origin of our Solo Cacao, from a single plantation.
A living product
Like any plant that grows from the earth, cocoa can naturally contain some elements present in the soil, including cadmium. Their presence varies with terroirs, varieties and farming practices. Our chocolates are checked regularly and strictly comply with the European standards in force.
Three terroirs in one box
The Terra box, Journey to the land of cocoa, holds sixteen single-origin mini bars: three terroirs (Piura, Vraem, Cusco) and three expressions of cocoa (Cacao Blanco, Amazonas, Solo Cacao). An invitation to discover the diversity and aromatic richness of Peru's exceptional cocoas.
